From UI Designs to a Production Financial Platform

ParsChart is a financial platform for monitoring, analyzing, and comparing Iran’s stock market, gold, and cryptocurrencies. Users can see market updates with less than ten seconds of delay, record holdings in a unified portfolio, monitor profit and loss, and share their analysis with other users.

Dropp began working with ParsChart in December 2025. At the outset, there was no existing software product or technical team; only part of the user interface had been designed. Dropp was entrusted with turning that starting point into an operational, scalable, and extensible product.

Dropp assumed full technical ownership—from software architecture and frontend and backend development to testing, quality assurance, infrastructure, deployment, and production support.

More Than a Market-Price Website

ParsChart was never intended to be a simple price table or a collection of financial charts. The goal was to build a multilayer product that could ingest and unify data from several markets, then turn it into practical tools for investors and analysts.

The production platform combines live stock, gold, and cryptocurrency data with analytical charts, portfolio management, profit-and-loss calculations, price alerts, user-generated analysis, social following, comments and ratings, and paid subscriptions.

In the next product phase, analysts will be able to sell individual analyses, with ParsChart retaining a share of each transaction. This extends the platform beyond financial analysis tools and creates the foundation for a content economy connecting analysts and investors.

The Core Challenge: Engineering High-Volume Live Financial Data

Building ParsChart was not a routine CRUD project.

A continuous stream of financial data had to be received, validated, normalized, and presented consistently. Each market followed a different data structure, yet users needed one coherent experience across the platform.

Historical and time-series storage, continuously updated portfolio valuations, and rapid delivery of market changes to the interface required an architecture capable of growing with the number of instruments, users, and market events.

Displaying data was only part of the requirement. The interval between receiving an update and presenting it in the product had to remain below ten seconds without compromising user experience or platform stability as processing load increased.

An Architecture Built for Growth, Not Just the First Release

Dropp designed ParsChart’s architecture around the product’s future growth. The core was developed as a cohesive, controllable application, while capabilities such as authentication, SMS, and email delivery were separated into independent supporting services.

This avoided the unnecessary complexity of a fully distributed architecture while preserving a clear path for scaling sensitive parts of the system.

The frontend was built with Next.js and React, and the backend with Node.js and NestJS. MongoDB forms the primary data layer, Redis supports caching, RabbitMQ handles messaging, and Object Storage is used for files.

The data layer was engineered for high-volume financial information and time-series storage. The result is a platform that can expand as new markets, analytical tools, and business models are introduced.

Unified Portfolio Management Across Three Markets

Portfolio management is one of ParsChart’s central capabilities.

Users can record stock, gold, and cryptocurrency holdings together with quantity, purchase price, and purchase date. Using the latest market data, the platform calculates each asset’s current value, its profit or loss, and the overall state of the portfolio.

This involved much more than storing a few values. Different asset structures, units of calculation, and constantly changing prices had to be reconciled within a single model that could produce fast, accurate, and understandable results.

Instead of reviewing separate markets independently, users gain a unified and continuously updated view of their holdings.

A Network for Publishing and Evaluating Market Analysis

Alongside its data and portfolio tools, ParsChart introduces a social layer for market analysts.

Users can publish analysis with written commentary, chart images, a related instrument, target price, and entry and exit points. Other users can view, comment on, and rate that analysis.

Users can also follow analysts and discover analyses across the stock, gold, and cryptocurrency markets in one environment.

These capabilities move ParsChart beyond data display and turn it into a platform for creating, distributing, and evaluating specialist financial content—one that can later enable analysts to earn directly from their expertise.

Multichannel Alerts for Markets That Never Stand Still

In financial markets, receiving a price update at the right moment can matter. ParsChart allows users to define price alerts for the assets they care about.

When a specified condition is met, the platform notifies the user through the dashboard, SMS, and email. Users can monitor meaningful market changes without continually watching charts.

Quality Engineering Embedded in Delivery

For a product handling financial information and portfolio calculations, quality cannot be limited to a final testing round before launch.

ParsChart’s backend has automated unit and integration tests with more than 80% coverage. The QA team also validates the platform’s primary user journeys end to end.

Tests are integrated into the delivery process and run before each release. This allows new capabilities to be introduced without destabilizing established behavior, ensuring that development speed does not come at the expense of quality.

Fully Automated Delivery and Production-Ready Operations

Dropp Tempo designed and implemented ParsChart’s infrastructure and release process according to Dropp’s production standards.

For every release, the software is built automatically, stored in a registry, and inspected through Trivy and SonarQube. Automated tests and database migrations run before the new version is deployed without manual intervention.

Monitoring, backups, centralized secrets management, rate limiting, a web application firewall, and secure access controls were also part of the production foundation from the beginning.

This pipeline makes each release repeatable, traceable, and lower risk while allowing the team to continue developing the product quickly after launch.

Four Months of Development Under Exceptional Constraints

A significant part of ParsChart’s development coincided with war, widespread internet disruptions, and restricted access to essential services—conditions that made coordination and delivery of a live-data product substantially more difficult.

Despite these constraints, Dropp completed the product’s technical core in four months of development and prepared it for production. ParsChart launched in summer 2026, and the engagement continues through future product development and ongoing DevOps support.

The core team included one senior backend developer, two senior frontend developers, a tech lead, a QA specialist, and Dropp Tempo’s infrastructure and DevOps team.
